Andy Irons Dies aged 32

The 3 times World Champion of Surfing has died, aged 32 yesterday.

There is already speculation about his sudden death, but regardless of how he died, he was still an asset to the sport of surfing and one that will not readily be forgotten

Some lengthy highlights from the latest Nike SB Europe tour. Eyes peeled for the BaySixty6 stuff!

Absolutely killing it – and making everything look so nice at the same time.

I remember all those years ago when Nike took it’s first steps into the Skateboarding world – I don’t think I was the only one who sneared at the idea and thought to myself ‘what do they know?’.

Turns out they are pretty much dominating. You only have to look at the team to see that… Whether that is a good thing, I don’t know.

John Demar is a flow rider for Element Skateboards and I think the one word that sums up this section the best is ‘Gnarly’.

This guy just wants to go super-fast at everything. I would hate to see some of the bails…

Big Push Voting is Open

Voting for the Big Push 2010 Sidewalk comp is now open.

If you don’t know anything about the Big Push, it started with Document about 6 years ago with Sidewalk taking over about 2 years ago. It features a bunch of skateboarding teams that get 7 days to travel across the country and skate.

They all make edits and complete challenges along the way. Then, after the edits are released, the public vote for their favourite edit/team. The final score is made up of 50% public vote, 50% challenge completion – so your vote really matters!

You can grab the DVD in this months issue of Sidewalk or wait till the 1st of November and watch the edits online – we will post on here when they are up!
